Ashton’s approach focuses primarily on strengthening the marital relationship, and empowering the couple to parent in a way that serves their family values. Zach received his bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University in 2016. He then served as a student pastor for the next four years while finishing his master’s degree and making the transition to therapy. During those four years in ministry, he was able to develop relationships with students and families walking through a variety of life circumstances.
Zach has always had a heart for students and families and working with them to repair broken bridges of communication. Families are awesome, but every member of the family experiences things in a unique way. This can be chaotic, or it can be reframed to reflect the beauty of God’s creation. After spending twenty-five years as a public school educator, Michele completed her Masters in School Counseling in 2012 and began serving the students and families at Branch elementary in Bryan ISD for eight years. She retired from public education in May of 2020 and served as an LPC-Associate at Scotty's House for the past year, working with children and their families who have experienced physical and/or sexual abuse.
