Family relationships can bring the greatest joy and the greatest heartache.  Family therapy at the A&M Christian Counseling Center is based on the idea that the family is a distinct social system with unique patterns of interacting.  Family routines are shaped by many forces, including the parents’ values, the personalities of each family member, and the influence of the extended family.  In order to realize lasting change, these routines must be interrupted.  Family therapy at the AMCCC can help parents and children to experiment with more healthy ways of interacting that are more in line with desired outcomes.
