about whitney

Whitney’s educational background includes a MS in Professional Counseling from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, as well as a BS in Behavioral Science. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas (#76655).

Whitney’s greatest passion is bringing healing to women who have experienced trauma, whether that be sexual abuse, betrayal of a spouse, grieving a lost loved one, or complex family of origin trauma. She enjoys helping women find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can be empowered, reclaim their voices and identities, and find safety and peace wherever they are at on their healing journey.

Whitney has been trained in a range of therapeutic techniques including EMDR, IFS, Art Therapy, Shadow Work, and Theraplay. She operates from a creative, empathetic, and genuine standpoint utilizing cognitive behavioral, attachment, and family systems theories, as well as other integrative modalities as needed.  Her goal is to create a safe space, to come alongside you in your trials and sufferings, to radiate the love of Christ, and point you to the Ultimate Healer who wants to relieve you of your burdens. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28.
