Emily Burrow, M.MFT, LMFT

Emily Burrow received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and her BS in Mathematics from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

Emily has a heart for working with individuals, couples and families. She enjoys working with elementary-aged children and adolescents and provides support for their parents and families. Emily practices from a Strategic Family Systems approach and examines how a child’s behavior functions to communicate something about the system in which they live. She collaborates with parents to help them learn to “speak kid” so that they can begin to look beyond the symptoms of the behavior to discern the motivating force that drives it.

Emily and her husband have been married for 26 years.They have 4 children, 3 adult children and 1 at home.
