Shawn McCowan earned his Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor is licensed to practice in the state of Texas (#78066).

As a retired Air Force Veteran with 20 years of service, Shawn gained firsthand insight into the special challenges faced by our nation's service members.
His combination of faith, knowledge, experience, and education allows him to help others explore, understand, and communicate the web of thoughts and feelings that drive our decisions and actions, both beneficial and harmful. Shawn specializes in individual males, couples, and families experiencing high conflict, as well as veterans issues including PTSD.
